![]() It is the imperfections that give your illustrations their "soul". Unless you're drawing architectural blueprints meant for construction (why would you use CSP for that anyways? AutoCAD ftw), allow yourself some margin of error. Again, editing and adjusting the different rulers' juuuust right can be time-consuming. While the use of rulers can make your lines appear, for the lack of a better term, "soulless" this effect can be meditated by editing the vector line after the fact (adjusting line weight and other minor tweaks). CSP has several rulers that will cover your immediate needs right out of the box. It's a time-consuming grind, but if you do it as a 10-15 warm-up routine before each drawing session, you'll start to see results. They use Photoshop, but a lot of it translates easily to CSP. ![]() There's also this video which goes over tips and tricks for digital lines. ![]() has a lot of exercises that focus on this. Work on your muscle memory to draw smooth, clean, and confident lines with one stroke.
